At work and at play

Jim had a long career as an engineer in product development.  He has experience with designing products from blank paper to improving existing systems.  Using a coach approach has always worked best for him as it builds exceptional employees and helps the teams get credit for the achievements.  Jim holds 10 US patents acquired creatively solving engineering challenges.

Jim works at RIT as a Guide.   He works with teams of engineers to create solutions for real customers.  The projects span industries from farming, to solar solutions, and handicap accommodations.  Jim teaches senior students how to use their book knowledge and a little process to develop solutions that accomplish the customers goals.

Jim started coaching in 2018 after his career as an engineer.   The desire to help people make significant decisions and changes in their lives to attain their goals is what its all about.  He is in the process of taking classes and getting certified by the International Coaching Federation.
